October 2022  MEET THE VISITING DOCTORS

Dr. Hernon and Dr. Holden will be welcoming their first baby very soon! Dr. Hernon plans to be out on maternity leave starting October 17th until January 9th, 2023. During this time we are pleased to have Dr. Nousha Panahpour, Dr. Christine Yeh, and Dr. Pavneet Momi to provide care to our valued patients!

MEET OUR TALENTED VISITING DENTISTS

Dr. Nousha Panahpour

Dr. Nousha Panahpour is a faithful Husky!

She earned her Bachelor’s and Doctor of Dental Surgery Degrees from the University of Washington and went on to be accepted into and complete an advanced training program through the UW General Practice Residency. She gained experience in the treatment of patients with complex medical and dental needs as well as emergency care, trauma management, and hospital-based and pediatric dentistry and is certified in moderate sedation. She currently works part-time at a private dental clinic near Seattle and will be available in our office Mondays and Tuesdays.

Dr. Panahpour strongly believes in patient-centered, transparent care, and involves patients in every step of the treatment plan. She wants her patients to be informed and always welcomes questions. She treats every patient like family and strives to provide quality care for her patients.

Outside the office, this Edmonds local can be found chasing sunsets, running, walking along the beach, or watching FRIENDS.

Christine Yeh graduated cum laude from the University of Washington, Seattle, with a degree in biochemistry and a minor in music. She then spent a year working as a dental assistant at a pediatric dental office and quickly knew dentistry was her calling. Dr. Yeh graduated from the University of Washington School of Dentistry and went on to complete a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program in Tacoma, WA.

Dr. Yeh’s approach to care is patient-centered. She desires to foster a patient-provider relationship that is honest, encouraging, patient, and communicative. She believes in encouraging patients to achieve their oral health goals and overcome any barriers that may stand in the way.

Dr. Yeh is from the Seattle area and graduated from International Community School in Kirkland. She enjoys hiking, watching football, trying new foods, playing music, and spending time with family and friends.

Dr. Yeh currently works part-time at another office down south and will be available in our office Thursdays.

Dr. Pavneet Momi - Dr. Pav

Dr. Pavneet Momi (Dr. Pav)

Dr. Pav will be available in our office Wednesdays starting October 26th. Dr. Pav is excited about the opportunity to serve the community of Burlington. Dr. Pav enjoys all aspects of dentistry including crown and bridge, implants, extractions, and more. He brings a genuine and compassionate approach to all patients under his care. He grew up in Lynnwood and attended the University of Washington for his undergraduate studies and Dental school. He’s an avid Seahawk fan and can often be found at the games on Sundays! Outside of work, he loves spending time in the beautiful PNW with his wife and dog Snoop.

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT!

Dr. Holden and I are excited to welcome a tiny new addition to our family at the end of October! We are beyond thrilled for this next stage in our lives and to become parents.

In addition, and some may already know, Dr. Holden has just recently begun a specialization program in Periodontics at OHSU in Portland, OR. He was 1 of 3 dentists accepted into the 3-year program! While the program is a full-time commitment, Dr. Holden’s passion to provide his patients with the best and most comprehensive periodontal and surgical care drives him forward. Though he will not be available for regular patient care during this time, he continues to be a resource for our team and the office.

Thank you for being a valued member of our dental family!
